Hallo guys!
I came to this forum because of it's name. I do find it amazing someone run one like it.
My name is Steffen Schenk I do live in a town which is called Magdeburg. It is the capitol of Saxony - Anhalt - Germany. I'm 30 years old now and I've been living here all my life. I do play drums since 1986 and I am very interested in other help-science.
For those of you which does not know this, Magdeburg is the city in which a man named Otto of Guericke made his attempt with the two hemispheres. The attempt goes back to the early 17th century. I personally saw it live, and it is very impressive. Bye the way I do think science then the whole science did stop there for this time.
Important was he derived an air pressure into the nature of the planet to prove it. I do think he was wrong completely. The possibility of an air pressure into the nature was denied latest true the space missions. When a spaceship which form ever can leave the gravity and was able to get back into it the natural system "Planet Earth" can not being separated from the space (seen as nature two) somehow. This means it can not have a pressure in form of compression in it.
That would not be further bad if there wasn't the hemisphere attempt. I myself did made me thoughts about the vacuum since the time I saw it. I could not stop until I came to the following conclusion. Vacuum can not be defined, this is revolutionary I know, with room in some way.
Vacuum was when the volume of the o - room was bigger than the volume of the mass of it particles.

The imagination of the vacuum is so difficult because of it is not part of the developed? nature of the planet earth and so not part of the human beings as the highest form of this nature. So the vacuum state is not being reached not even trough the process of tinkling and so noon could have come the this conclusion, normally.
But this definition does say two, vacuum can be generated into the free nature. I do further think nature as it is complete which means nature which does exist out of the gravity can just be divided into two forms
The first were particles themselves.
The second are swings and swing in form of vibrations (two bridge the laws of music) which are different them to the rhythm.
Those classifications seem to be important to me because of those swings do have rules themselves which make them swings on the one hand an point directly two understand what this gravity in the true sense does mean.
This is done true the tempo which makes them changing their position according to the gravity so fast, they do not have a weight that could be measured.
Let me @ the end of my first article on this forum which I do love really for it appearance.

I got another information concerning my signature. I just want to give you an idea the vacuum was capable to do.

The original attempt with the hemispheres was shown there. The attempt was not supported somehow. I do mean, it was not a faked with it. Just so, it was not a Hollywood production, non animation in it.
I, myself, did see it two times, live. I stood back when it was done. It was astonishing. The hemispheres weren't hold with any support. It was non welding done, non screws came in, nothing. Just the contained air was pumped out, was said.
It did just work because of no one did know. Otto Gericke supposed the surrounding air to be responsible. He imputed or repeated an air pressure in the nature, after he went nuts as thinking about this. So many people on the world did, since then. The whole world, the industrial revolution, the founding of the U.S., the French Revolution, WW II, Stalin...... , all the events took place, for this event.
Let me finally answer your last, or lets say the following question. The vacuum state was not the answer on it, directly.
But if the vacuum state was reached it could not put back. the particles have to destroy the O- room on their move towards each other. Due it, it gives a center move a bit further than the other direction. The hemisphere can not be separated (depending on the vacuum), easily.
