The portal gathers original content from individuals, news sites, personal and company websites, discussion groups and other areas that generate information of interest to the “Free Energy” (FE) and O/U researchers, scientists, students, and the increasingly environmentally responsible public. For all of us, having a central hub where real and important news on the topic is concentrated, makes sense. This is much simpler and efficient than to scan everyday through numerous sites, bulletin boards, discussion groups, etc., and search through pages of mostly irrelevant (for the general public) information, to find one that is worthwhile remembering and reporting. Google-news team has accepted ZPEnergy.com as a source for the new energy domain. We think this is a huge opportunity for the O/U community to better get its message out in the mainstream media. Important, relevant news is rare and hard to find. Those who have or generate it may not have heard about ZPEnergy.com, don't bother to disseminate their information or, just prefer to keep it private. Even though we have to respect the third option, and sometimes facilitate private contacts ourselves, our mission is an educational one too. People have to understand that, in fact, each new major advance in science started with an anomaly that was unacceptable at first. They have to realize this is not all scams and junk science, as most skeptics want you to believe it is, in the name of protecting a few naive, uninformed or greedy people from the crooks and scam-artists who prey on exactly that. We share with the skeptics the requirement for proof (extraordinary proof for extraordinary claims), but not the dogmatic attitude towards the current laws of physics and the lack of encouragement for those who dare to go beyond what they think to be possible. ZPEnergy.com struggles to make sure content on its site is as current, relevant, and truthful as possible. Some material could not be validated because it is not within the scope of this site (or closely related) or it's too theoretical/technically detailed in nature, or, frankly, it's not news worthwhile for everybody to appreciate (too inflammatory, strongly biased, not interesting, etc.) Sometimes, such articles slip through and we are advised by our readers to keep our standards high, the way we started - and we thank them for that. We do not have enough resources and time to adequately cover the vast amount of information available on the Internet. This is not a commercial site; students and computer/free energy enthusiasts run it in their spare time. We do not want to compete with anybody, just want to help, as many of you rightfully requested. For this reason, ZPEnergy.com is asking all of you to act as "field" correspondents gathering here important and relevant news for the general public consumption, and consequently giving more legitimacy to this controversial field of experimental research. The public's interest must be kept alive by constantly reporting/updating on valuable research (which many of you are personally involved with). Some will always suspect a government monitoring scheme in this, and not understand (or not want others to understand) that getting more public exposure with real encouraging results, is the only way to produce the expected attitude change at the grass roots level. As you can see, this is a major upgrade of the ZPEnergy.com site to align it to the format of our other hi-tech news portals. What we did for the nanotechnology community (some of the best news portals on the net) we want to do, with your cooperation, for the new energy - O/U community. We always welcome good suggestions to make this site even better. Thank you all, ZPEnergy.com team
