Unlike Eric, Dr. Greer is a well educated person. And, as Dr. Greer himself carefully, explicitly, and emphatically noted in his interview with George Noory, he is not a physicist, nor does he pretend to be. The scientific team at SEAS, on the other hand, ARE all physicists and electrical engineers.

But even the preliminary analysis of this device at SEAS is not good enough for Dr. Greer, or for the world. The central issue at hand, as I have explained to you now more times than I can count, is the credibility and physics expertise of the labs (PLURAL) which will be independently testing this device.

There are other very serious issues to be considered with regard to the credibility of the three different independent labs which will be testing this device. Firstly, as anyone who understands intellectual property rights law can readily appreciate, SEAS has entered a non disclosure agreement (NDA) with the inventor. The independent labs testing this device will also have to enter that NDA, and strictly abide by its terms. It is infinitely more logical to entrust well respected institutions like MIT and Princeton (or similarly credentialled physics research institutes) with such responsibilities than to entrust someone nobody ever heard of like Eric with such a thing. One too many beers at the local pub and oops, the whole project is down the toilet, thanks to Eric.

Secondly, Dr. Greer is about six months away from having to approach a bank to finance this project. Would you really expect Dr. Greer to show up at a bank with a briefcase filled with nothing more than a note from Eric indicating this device works? Would you expect a bank to loan several tens of millions or even hundreds of millions of dollars on the basis of tests conducted at just ONE lab, especially when that one lab is run by someone like Eric?

As for the taxpayer footing the bill at the DOE lab, first of all we don't even know if in fact the government testing will be funded by the government, or by SEAS. But even if it were funded entirely by the government, I would consider it to be among the wisest expenditures of taxpayer dollars I've ever seen.

Again, since you seem to have a very hard time grasping this, allow me to reiterate: THE CENTRAL POINT, THE ONE KEY ISSUE AT HAND, IS THE CREDIBILITY OF THE THREE DIFFERENT INDEPENDENT LABS THAT WILL SOON BE TESTING THIS DEVICE. Eric's credibility (or lack thereof) thus becomes an issue only insofar as you have proposed that he alone should be allowed to conduct the independent testing.

You have insisted that I reply with my real name, which I have done. If you reply (as I'm sure you will - endlessly), please let the rest of us know your real name.

    Sincerely,
    Michael Hoke
