It is a fact that the climate is warming slightly in the northern hemisphere , but at the same time it is getting colder in other places. Result is "No net gain".

You are right Malc, I am not alone in my "isolationist" thinking. I believe that economic growth should take precidence over all other consideration. When you are laid off and struggling to start a business, one takes a very dim view of global warming scares and other scams that are used as excuses to create more bureaucracy, more regulation, and less opportunities for economic growth. I am sick of this sort of crap. Despite my hatred of Bush (because of the stupid Iraq war), I am voting for him simple because he is of the political party that is "usually" opposed to growth of government regulation which, in turn, stiffles business growth.

Maybe in the future, when I am independently wealthy, I will have the luxury to care about other issues. But not until I am independently wealthy and can live whatever life I want.

If global warming is real, I say crank it up! I would love a subtropical paradise climate all over the Earth. I say increase the amount of CO2 up to 1000-1500ppm. We've got a long ways to go!
