No Comments Allowed for Anonymous, please register Re: Free money for free energy (Score: 1) by ElectroDynaCat on Monday, July 19, 2004 @ 20:44:21 UTC (User Info | Send a Message) Don't tar us all with the same brush, some of us are honestly researching this otherwise impossible dream, tilting windmills in the hope that somewhere, somehow, this primal force can be harnessed. Thw worst part for some of us that honestly try are those gizmos that just about everyone produces or designs, the thing you really don't know is that sometimes, someone comes up with something that even a sceptical and trained investigator can't really refute without attempting to build it and test it. Those are the people that do the most damage to this endeavor. We only have a limited amount of time and resources to devote to the building and testing of the various schemes that are presented, and inevitably, they fail to perform. Its when you start to ask questions that the promoters start to hem and haw , then you know you are wasting your time and go on to something else. My own experience leads me to a few conclusions that everyone else looking into ZPE should take to heart. Rule One: If its big enough to see with the naked eye, its not a working ZPE generator. This energy imbalance only exists at the microscopic, even nanoscopic level and no where else. Real ZPE devices will be Nanomachines, or more properly, Nanocircuitry on a much smaller scale that we can efficiently produce with todays technology. Rule Two: There are anomalous outputs of energy from chemical and quantum processes that we still don't quite understand, this energy may come from the vacuum, or it may be even stranger than that. Generally these processes do not produce enough surplus energy to self sustain a continuing reaction and are doomed to snuff themselves out. This has become apparrent with the Langmuir Hydrogen splitting experiment, but the results still lead to a dead end for anything practical, for the simple reason that Langmuir hydrogen doesn't produce enough surplus energy to close the loop and regenerate. Don't waste time or resources thinking you can get this to work. Rule Three: Measurement is everything in this business, a sound researcher will probably spend more time and effort in measurement than anything else. Know what the difference between energy and power is, and understand how to measure power and what the role of power factor is in the measurement of output. if you can't understand this simple part of electrical measurement, get out of this businesss right now because you are going to waste a lot of peoples time. | Parent Re: Free money for free energy by nanotech on Friday, July 23, 2004 @ 07:16:19 UTC
