i totally agree with you doug, in my opinion the US has been withholding technology such as ZPE and very possibly much more for the main reason of maintaing supremecy over the world. If ZPE was developed to a standard where every country could generate as much power as they want then the US would no longer remain a superpower. especially if ZPE solved russia's economy.

But they cant keep a lid on this technology for much longer, as this technology has reached a point where it has started to surface in the public. For instance Tom Beardens website - his working MEG. I think the next positve step would be for the public to start replicating his design, like the lifters which have been replicated all over the world which show how a metalic triangle charged with electricity can cause it to float and create thrust.

A lot of the claims in the FE/OU field of energy production are attempts by knowledgeable individuals and groups to "pre-empt" any real breakthrough and have prior art rights to any real ZPE device that might be invented. In other words, if you claim a certain process, even though it didn't actually function, there is still a chance that your design would be close enough to the real device that you could have some economic return from claiming that you had invented first.
One very famous case of this type of pre-emption occurred at the beginning of the electronic age, when there was no workable method to amplify radio signals. Although signals could be detected and rectified, the signal's power could not be raised to a level where it could drive a loudspeaker. In anticipation of such an invention, Deforest patented the Audion Tube, a diode vacuum tube, claiming that its special design made it an amplifier (it didn't amplify). Shortly afterwards Amstrong invented the true amplifying Triode Vacuum tube and a patent case was pursued to break Deforest's claim on amplifiers. In the insuing court case it was established that Deforest did not even understand the process of signal amplification, and his patent was thrown out.
How many court cases will be brought about by the development of the first true workable ZPE Device? Enough to keep scores of lawyers busy for a long time. The enormous economic incentive alone is justification for great numbers of pre-empters to attempt to get a piece of the rewards due. As far as the government already possessing such technology, it would be difficult to keep such a secret for long, the government may have a few pieces of the puzzle, but not any more than the rest of us. However the government stands ready to step in with its own "secret" claims once such a device is developed and made public, and try to at least control the development and use of such a technology.
