    I agree 100%. I think the military/government/etc have known about this technology, and even HAD this technology, for years. It certainly fits in with what Dr. Greer is saying at over at http://www.seaspower.com/ Dr. Greer believes the government will sit on this forever, unless challenged, but this article paints a rosier picture. Looks like we may be getting ZPE at long last, the government just need a way to get it into the public domain without there being an outcry, as you rightly said. How could they sit on this forever? What with all the obvious benifits to transport, environment, space travel, and even dare i say it... warfare, lets face it, if the military see a use for it, we're gonna get it. Oil wont last forever, probably wont even last another 20 years, and can't get any where useful in space using rockets. six months to mars? 3 days to the moon? pathetic!

    You are onto it - there are already such things, in selected hands only. But I disagree that "they" are looking for an excuse to release it - one reason for announcing such projects is to "mop up" inventors that the military haven't heard about - they get silenced when they pop up with a new idea (usually with money and loss of control of the idea, not necessarily a nasty end).

    The implications of ZPE for power and transport are so big most people haven't grasped it yet. Societies on the WHOLE planet will be changed as a result, and the USA maintaining it's powerful position might be a tad harder - this is the REAL reason for the suppression; money & power/control. Right now we are all under the control of the fuel suppliers. Who needs them when you have ZPE????? What form will the new economy take?

    Despite this I think the planet needed it 50 years ago and desperately needs it now, and I support Steven Greer's efforts.
