    Back to Zero Point Energy
Posted on Sunday, October 05, 2003 @ 23:57:37 UTC by vlad

Science Anonymous writes: I am a little disappointed to see most of the NEWS items concern issues having nothing to do with zero point energy .
Solar powered lawn mowers and leaf blowers, just don't cut it.

If there is a usable potential in the negative vacuum energy density of space, it will do nothing less than transform humanity.

Maybe a little more on topic, for the sake of the issue?

I agree with you and I wish we all (since all of the readers are/should be contributors too) could find more news directly related to our main topic, ZPE. Any news, good or bad, would do it... just to see that something is done to explore this only hope (in my opinion) for a real FE device.

Unfortunately this kind of reliable news is hard to find and consequently rare. We know some serious research is classified – consequently it doesn’t exist for the general public. Hopefully some people in those projects will realize the urgency and the need to get the public to support and demand this type of research work.

In the mean time, we must allow some posts that, we think, are still interesting to the new energy enthusiasts, or otherwise this site would be practically inactive (such as the one you’ve mentioned and many other). Would you, our ZPEnergy.com regulars, prefer to pay that price for a stricter posting rule?

It just may be that a breakthrough might come from a completely unrelated area (my guess is nanotechnology). Reviewing the academic articles on ZPE shows that there is a great theoretical interest in the structure of the vacuum. These articles are at times mind boggling in the degree of advanced mathematical concepts used in describing the character of the flux. It would in fact be of some interest to "translate" some of these papers so that we mere mortals could understand whats being described. It took me 3 months to roughly outline the math that Piaggi used to show that the cubic density of the flux spectrum doesn't lead to inertial dragging, an important element of the theory.
So in consideration of these facts, lets just hope we can get articles that we can understand because there are a lot of publications on the ZPE, most of us just don't have the background to relate to whats being researched.
