Relevant Quotation > "...In the early 30's when my dad was studying electricity, his teacher had told the class that one day someone would develop a magnetic motor that would revolutionize the world." -- Marylin Adams [more]
Orders > Now accepting applications for beta testing of the magnetic motor - full application now available (Oct. 16, 2002).
Team > We are pleased to announce the Agency in Holland which controls The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Luxemburg. And welcome Kees Schoots to our family.
R&D > We have done a lot of research on our motor and have replaced the main rotor and stator which was made of aluminum with an industrial type plastic.

On the drawing board Now

prit of freedom 2 seat fully retractable (Concept Drawing).

The aircraft on the drawing board will be powered initially by a conventional Rotax 914 turbo charged motor producing some 115 hp, later we will carry out testing on a magnetic motor which is similar to a turbine with the exception that it does not require fuel.

The magnetic motor drives the variable pitch propeller through a 22.1 ratio gearbox at 2240 rpm giving maximum power for take off and landing.

The prototype will have a cruising speed of +- 180kph with a stalling speed of 50kph. Pay load +- 450kg

The body and wings will be constructed of composite materials offering low maintenance and strength .

Wing span 10m ( 34 feet)

Take off roll 150m

Landing roll 100m

High visibility from the cockpit makes the aircraft ideal for Traffic and Observation purposes.

Flying the aircraft is very simple, the speed of the Aircraft is not controlled by a throttle( in magnetic motor configuration) but by the pitch control for the prop, on landing the prop can be reversed in the case of a short field landing.

Flying the Aircraft will be very quiet as there is no engine noise, in the cockpit or on the ground.

Rate of fuel consumption on the normal engine aircraft will be about R 25.00 per hour

Key Benefits

No fuel costs (on magnetic powered model)
No costly engine overhauls (on magnetic powered model)
Low Maintenance
Range on magnetic motor model unlimited
Range on Normal engine model 9 hours or 1600 km

Magnetic Motor with Alternator
Patent Pending

We can supply output from 6KW up to 2MW

Background of the Magnetic Motor.
We started in 1969 with the development of a magnetic motor to drive an alternator to produce electricity.

The concept was sound but the problem we faced was that the magnets that were available at the time ( ferrite magnets) were not very powerful.

The unit ran but had very little power and the project was abandoned.

In 1996 we started to investigate the possibility of reviving the original idea, magnets had now come a long way and were very powerful (rare earth).

Rare earth magnets

After driving engineers mad with new angles to be cut, we developed a 3 rotor system producing 6kw, this we are coupling to a alternator through an 11:1 gearbox to produce electricity in 220volt and 380volt, single or 3 phase.

Main Rotor

The units will be ideal for the small and large user, such as emergency, military, farms, plots, industrial and large users...in fact any application requiring power.

Key Benefits Foreseen

No fuel costs
Constant running
Reliable
Cost Effective
Portable (6kw-120Kw)

Concept Image of Sprit

The Electric Vehicle will be powered by a magnetic motor driving an alternator which in turn will supply the power required by the driving motor ( 20kw to 140Kw).

The Vehicle will be constructed of an anodized aluminum chassis and a composite body, giving good strength and long life.

The driving motor will require very little maintenance and the bearings should last at least 1,5 million Km.

Total all up weight of the Vehicle +- 900Kg.

Speed 140km (governed).

0-100 5.6 sec

Seats 2+2 (Full four seat to be developed later)

Range unlimited

Key Benefits

No fuel costs
Performance 20% better than vehicle in same class
Running costs : drive train and tires R1.20 /km
Priced at around R 180 000
