    Science Steve Krivit writes: New Evidence Supports Claim of Bubble Fusion Discoverer Rusi Taleyarkhan

    After having his character defamed by a scathing series of articles by journalist Eugenie Samuel Reich in Nature, and being hounded by the world's science press as an apparent fraud, Rusi Taleyarkhan appears to be re-emerging victorious.


    Papers accepted by Physical Review Letters this past week show that the theoretical speculations by Brian Naranjo and Seth Putterman of UCLA, on which Reich/Nature based their assertions of "hot air" by Taleyarkhan do not match empirical examinations.

    Purdue University professor Rusi Taleyarkhan and colleagues have published another paper on their bubble fusion research. They believe the research could lead to a new source of clean nuclear energy.
