Both you and Mike Hoke are making valid points, but to me are shooting across eachother's bows.

Knowing Dr Greer I can assure you he has thought about this and has a long list of reasons not to do a PUBLIC "basic test" to seek out simple scams like batteries. He has decided to do this with close colleagues, such as Prof Ted Loder. The device will only be tested in one of the bigger, "credible" labs when it has clearly passed muster in such simple tests, but for Dr Greer's own reasons this will be done privately. I know, it doesn't sound good when we out here don't have all the data.
Remember that Steven Greer does have a lot of high-level contact including Pentagon staff (a lot of this arranged by retired military folk who have good contacts). He is no Johnny-come-lately but you are right, he is also no physicist.

It is possible for all sorts of things to make this project come unstuck but that's why SEAS was arranged as it has been, to get around known problems (perhaps we need to look out for Don Rumsfeld's "unknown unknowns"). Wasting money is not something I'd worry too much about, if you understand Government activities.......

As I've said ad infinitum, we have to wait. It's Steven Greer's game and he's got the ball.

Cheers,

Doug
