You have shown eperimentally that interupting the stationary magnetic field (by periodically inserting magnetic shielding into the gap) induces a current in the coil.
Now the big question is whether can the motor produce over-unity (or at least break-even) energy -- i.e., can the energy needed to turn the interupter wheel be less than (or equal to) the energy delivered by the induction coil? If this were the case, the coil could be used to drive the interupter motor.
Even if your motor is not OU, you are right that this is an unusual
motor in the sense that neither the permanent magnet nor the
induction coil moves. Congratulations on making the motor work (in
the conventional under-unity mode). Are you planning to test for
over-unity operation?

Here's a half-baked suggestion for a "phase two" trial. Make a small
cut in the core to form a pinch point just above the magnet. This
will allow the flux lines to more easily decouple from the core when
the shield passes by. Next, reconfigure your shield into a "U" shape
set so that it acts to direct the flux from the exposed bottom pole
of the magnet up to the pole epoxied to the core. Finally, use a
plastic or non-magnetic carrier for the shield to confine and confine
the flux lines better to the shield itself.

That is an interesting motor, too, that is relatively insensitive to
mechanical load. Perhaps it runs with saturated or near saturated
magnetics as is.
