The "Cross Field Antenna"

A great controversy has arisen over a fairly new type of antenna: The "Cross Field Antenna". It's name comes from how the propagating electromagnetic wave is created, by superposing a purely electric field and a purely magnetic field.


So what's the controversy? Well, the controversy is that classical EM theory predicts it cannot work.

But somehow it still does.
