The radiation pressure of reflected photons imparts twice as much momentum to a surface as the pressure of absorbed-photons; therefore, I am seeking material combinations that will reflect better on one side of a plate and absorb better on the other side of the plate---Hopefully we can exploit the photons of the Quantum Flux in the five to 15 nm wavelength range, where the Flux can potentially exert tons of pressure per square foot!
I already have a number of promising, common materials in
mind; it might take someone with basic materials and basic equipment a
few short hours to demonstrate the merits of this concept; however, I
need help producing a few nickel-aluminum alloys for testing.
