"Field" correspondents wanted!
Date: Sunday, October 06, 2002 @ 20:37:00 UTC
Topic: General

As you know by now, ZPEnergy.com is an independent news portal focused on breakthrough Zero Point Energy practical applications research (devices).
We do not debate the theory, the validity or futility of this research and we are not skeptic in orientation, but firmly believe this will be the energy of the type III human race civilization (if we don't exterminate ourselves in the mean time). We believe in experimental science and its principles (properly obtained and validated test data and repeatability). We want to know the truth about this technology no matter how painful or hopeful this is. We encourage people to think for themselves and hope to expose the unscrupulous who pray on naivete.
We do not create the news; we just reveal it...(more...)

The original idea was that people working in this field of research or intending to get involved in it, will bring the news here as well as posting it on their own (or other) sites. For all of us, to have a central hub where real and important news on ZPE topic is concentrated is much simpler and efficient than to scan everyday through numerous sites, bulletin boards, discussion groups, etc., and search through pages of mostly irrelevant information, to find one that is worthwhile remembering.
The reality is that important news is rare and hard to find, and those who have or generate it did not hear about ZPEnergy.com news portal concept or don't bother with disseminating their information or, just prefer to keep it all in closed private circles.
Even though we have to respect the third option and, sometimes, facilitate private contacts, our mission is an educational one too. We want to let the general public know that ZPE based energy technology research is an active field and good progress is made towards validating this technology and bringing the first commercial operational device to the market.

Unfortunately, still many articles posted on ZPEnergy.com can not be validated because they are not about ZPE topic (or closely related) or they are too theoretical/detailed technical in nature or, pure and simple, they do not constitute the sort of news worthwhile posting for everybody to appreciate (too inflammatory, strongly biased, not interesting, etc.). Sometimes such articles slip through and we are adviced by our readers to keep our standards high, the way we started.

Of course, we still want people who find and/or create the valuable news to post it on ZPEnergy.com too, for all to enjoy, and save us a lot of "surfing" time. We do not have enough resources and time to adequately cover the vast amount of information available on the Internet only. For this reason, ZPEnergy.com is looking for "field" correspondents, people who appreciate the idea of collecting important news on the ZPE topic in one place and consequently benefit all who want to stay informed, in an efficient manner, on what's going on in this field.

For example, one correspondent may choose to monitor one or more Yahoo groups (such as jlnlabs and/or MEG_builders, free_enegy, etc. - there are quite a few of them) possibly because he/she is already doing that (maybe as a contributing member). Another correspondent may select a few new energy sites that are active (their owners have a policy of updating them with new information from time to time) to review and report about relevant news (lots of them dealing with ZPE and related - see our hot/links section for a selected sample only). You get the idea205
Of course, we're only looking for quality, relevant information that fits the mission statement of the ZPEnergy.com site, which we think is clear (please ask questions if not). We prefer qualified people familiar with this subject (physicists, engineers, experimenters, science reporters, etc.). We'll continue to reserve the right to validate all the submissions until the correspondents become accepted ZPEnergy.com members. So far, ZPEnergy.com is run by new-science/technology/ computer enthusiasts in their spare time. Depending on how this enterprise will evolve, this may change, but our independence must be preserved.
We'll publish in the "About Us" page the names (as given to us) of our "field correspondents" and their chosen covered sites. Please help us, and yourselves, in the quest for quality, honest, unbiased, relevant, timely information from the field of Zero Point Energy, development of practical applications. Thank you.
