Zhiyu Hu at Oak Ridge has written a paper entitled: "Nano-catalytic spontaneous ignition and self-supporting room-temperature combustion."
He has discovered spontaneous ignition and sustainable combustion at room temperature. He likens it to the combustion that fuels our bodies ... highly efficient, controllable and low temperature if desired.
