The original article probably meant to give us a different link: http://www.stardrivedevice.com/news.html

This does tell us what their experimental results are. But their results don't show over unity, and are of interest only to a student of their wacky theory. It also gives an academic reference:
Those of you kind visitors to our website who would like to have the benefit of an informed and unbiased academic opinion regarding the Electrodynamic Field Generator are welcome to contact John J. Tulip, Ph.D., Exec. Vice-Pres. of American International University. This consideration also applies of course to those parties who may be interested in securing a direct participation in our forthcoming EDF Generator Prototype Project. Dr. Tulip has not only expressed much-appreciated support of our efforts to introduce this important new technology, but has also had the opportunity to review our "technical manual" StarDrive Engineering.

So, someone at American International has reviewed their plans. There are a lot of American International Universities that are respected schools, I wondered which one this is. It's the one in Suriname, here is their homepage: http://www.aiuniversity.edu/index2.htm
They are not affiliated with any of the well known AIUs, and are run out of Florida. Someone whose contacted the Suriname embassy was told that there is only one legitimate university in that country, and this is not it. Do a google group search for "American University of Suriname" if you wnt to learn more.

Tulip was previously affiliated with Mellen University. (That's right, not Mellon University.)

At least Joe Newman gets real math and physics professors at legitimate universities to endorse his junk. Mark Tomion can't even put on a good show. Find some more interesting scams for us Vlad and stop linking to these cheap cons.

Thanks to everyone who used wetware to render my last post. Sorry for the wrong tags. But Buffy was on and I had other things on my mind.

I find it regrettable that I’m obliged to dignify Mr. Chips & Pickles’ acrimonious sniping with a response in this important and respectable forum. I’ve never had to defend myself before from a self-appointed medieval Inquisitor!
I realize that those of lesser intellect are often quick to assume that the simple fact we are selling a book about my work means that I’m out to bilk a gullible public out of their hard-earned dollars. God forbid if we make a buck or two to help offset part of the tremendous cost of our development program! The fact is that “StarDrive Engineering” was never really intended for the lay public, but for engineers – who are in fact responsible for the majority of the relatively few books that we sell. It truly is a complete technical manual which provides the highest possible level of mathematical and engineering substantiation for the Electrodynamic Field Generator’s design and operation.
Neither the book nor our website promulgate any “wacky theory”, as Mr. Chips & Pickles so unfairly and inaccurately asserts, and not a single bona fide physicist (such as Dr. Hal Puthoff) or electrical engineer who’ve read “StarDrive Engineering” has EVER given us a shred of negative feedback about it.
It is likewise quite wrong, and extremely unwise, for this person to state that the intensive research and development of over 15 years merely constitutes “junk”, an “interesting scam”, or a “cheap con”. Actions taken in haste or poor judgement often have unforeseen, undesirable, or unfortunate consequences, and bitter words issued in anger or jealousy can’t be taken back.
Statements made by Mr. Pickles in his first comment (concerning our short news item posting) that are wrongful in nature include:

“DC generators aren’t harder to turn when they are under load”: Of course this is not so in general, but a properly-constructed Faraday dynamo can exhibit an input torque requirement which is not directly proportional to output load;

“They are also special relativity skeptics”: Not so again, and what does that have to do with the issue at hand anyway?; and

“these folks think that all of the known laws of physics are wrong”: Certainly not, and just plain silly.

In conclusion, I must say that we have nothing to hide here at Archer Enterprises and are doing everything possible to bring an important (if controversial) new technology into the public domain. Likewise, we will certainly be glad to respond to serious and respectful inquiries (unlike that submitted by the illustrious Mr. Pickles) from those who would like clarification of our interpretation of the term “reactionless”, or of any other aspect of our StarDrive Engineering Project. Good day.

Mark R. Tomion
