Based on what I've learned from Tom Bearden via the Internet, if the device is real, I posit that each rod acts as a single pole of a dipole set, hence the different materials in each rod - different electron arrangements. Thus, I think the free electrons in each pole (rod) are a different consist, behave differently, and may "interfere" with each other in an oscillating and pulsing manner (beat frequencies?) so as to perturb or "disturb" the local vacuum around the device's conductors to either bring in vacuum-based photons to potentialize existing electrons in the conductors (could they be Tesla-type antennae?), or to "kick out" virtual electrons from the "Dirac Sea" into the material conductors (the rods) to potentially do work. That's my hypothesis. Though it "sounds too good to be true", it may very well be true. I wonder if we'll hear about it again? If not, could it be that it's soo good, and so true, that the "boys in black",  their thuggish lackies, or a secrecy order have/has quashed any further communication to us ordinary folk?
