Re: Zero Point Energy: Can it become a practical, near-term, alternative? (Score: 1)

You must understand the implications of true zero point energy machines and the groups, organizations, and individuals behind the attacks and suppression of researchers unsupported by classified govt and corporate research labs.

Global-wide corporate monopolists, military-intelligence and military-industrial complexes within complexes, and so many others, related and unrelated, are completely opposed to the zero point being tapped, at this time, and, for this technology to be in the hands of the individual or community.

Add to this all of the outright liars and hoaxers, false starts, and even sincere researchers "going crazy" and getting these messiah complexes and getting involved in all sorts of esoteric stuff like "channeling", and you start to see the problems.

Even so, it is INEVITABLE that some form of both zero point energy/quantum vacuum foam and molecular nanotech system will be constructed.

Ultimately.

Hot fusion is a technology that even if it was achieved easily, would still suffer from the same application problems that occur with conventional nuclear reactors. Hot fusion is extremely capital intensive, and over a short period of time, the vessel and containment coils would rapidly become radioactive, enormous amounts of shielding are required to protect personel and the environment . The only real function hot fusion has in energy research is to keep large numbers of plasma physicists out of the unemployment lines. Government contractors that build these machines appreciate the business that keep their employees busy in the off season.

"The fact that we DON'T see these devices everywhere is the most convincing proof that they don't work"

There were no light bulbs in the Middle Ages, therefore a light bulb couldn't possibly give off light? To someone in a Middle Ages mentality, that is quite logical.

With ZPE the reason no one has found one is not because such a mechanism can't be built, its because the human mind hasn't hasn't graduated to the level neccessary to grasp all the principles involved. It may not be understanding complexity that is the key, but basic insight into the nature the question.

It may be that it isn't that we are not smart enough to tap the ZPE, it may be that we aren't simple enough, strange but true .

When it does show itself, it will be so unassuming that it may be overlooked by anyone not questing for the answer.

Free power? You answered your own question, we do not see these devices because of the economical ramnifications, people love money, they love our money, they are going to continue making us spend it
