One example is Blacklight Power, which has raised more than $25 million for work with fractional hydrogen. See their website for details. ZPE and other possible sources of energy from the vacuum also have found funding, albeit not as much, nor as yet truly adequate. Magnetic Power Inc., is but one of several small firms and laboratories achieving promising results. Farnsworth labs in St. Petersburg appear to be doing excellent work. Lutec might be doing what they claim. Perendev, in South Africa, appears to have a genuine 6Kw prototype. Since both of the latter acknowledge that they pursued what they may have achieved without any theoretical base, commecialization appears to us understandably very difficult. When a scientist informed an investor in Brady's early work that it must be fraud, a South African court apparently asked two scientists to examine a working 65 watt self-running prototype. They could find no outside source of power or explanation, and the case was thrown out of court. Cold Fusion, dismissed by most of the scientific community, is alive and well in numerous well-respected laboratories, including SRI International, and the U.S. Navy Research Laboratory. At the former, it has been supported by DARPA. Many millions of dollars have been invested in these Low Energy Nuclear Reactions by Mitsubishi, the Toyota Foundation, and others. Patents in this area have been issued to Shell Oil and British Petroleum. New physics and new paradigms are not easily accepted, but the boundaries of our ignorance keep being pushed back by individuals and groups that pursue what appears to most impossible.
