Archer writes: For an interesting and detailed tech bulletin about fundamental EDF (StarDrive) Generator design and operation issues, please visit our new Proof-of-Concept Experiment Report webpage.
This Report (with photos of the test set-up) documents and interprets the verified results of the first-stage PoC experimentation with our novel thermionic disk generator's power system, and discusses our plans for proceeding to the next level of over-unity 24kW Generator prototyping.

You sir, it appears, are not.
A gratifying number of "knowledgeable types" are already 'impressed' with our work on the exotic Faraday dynamo variant discussed on our website. It's therefore not surprising that you weren't - given the difficulty you appear to have even with basic spelling . . . |

I am an ardent believer that this energy can be used. However , I am no fool when it comes to the claims that are made as to output. Anyone's successful device would be in the calorimeter at the Austin Institute for advanced study and shortly thereafter the developer would be winning the Nobel Prize. This hasn't happened for the simple reason that no one has cracked the problem of tapping the zero point, and it is doubtful that any macro-scale electromechanical device is capable of such a feat. Only one point I would like to make, why do all these machines use an outside source of excitation? Why the Eveready and the plug in the wall? Its simple, these devices do not work as claimed. Have your fun, but realize that you may be impeding or obscuring efforts that may lead to the conversion of this energy source. I feel that this quest that we all are imbarked upon is too important to be sidelined by illusions of success. My spelling may be flawed, but I do know what the basics of power measurement entail. |

Do you even realize that the solid-state voltage source you seem to find objectionable in our recent disclosure (since I have to guess here) only serves to reproduce the 'free' induction capability inherent in our Generator's simple primary power system? Your prejudice 'impedes' your perception. As provided in the Patent, using the rotating toroid field coils and stationary permanent magnets, the EDF Generator is designed to require only temporary external DC current to start - for the heaters - and not even external mechanical torque thereafter to run. But I guess we'll soon see, won't we? . . . I can't help it if you don't understand it in the meantime. Au revoir, monsieur. |

Proof of two Con Artists? (Score: 0) by Anonymous on Tuesday, July 15, 2003 @ 16:18:30 UTC | Tomion's partner - Bryan Willoughby of affirm technology, confidentially offered me $25 million dollars in investment but needed a demo first and what he called, a "technology transfer." The reason they need me is because it is "MY" patented technology that Tomion has hijacked and placed at the "core" of his lame UFO patent, and he cannot get the plasma drive to work - so Bryan W. (Tomion's partner) approached me for the information under the guise of an investor. Tommie still has NO WORKING PROTOTYPE but he has recently posted on 6/11/03, "our first-stage proof-of-concept experiment was a qualified but extremely encouraging success!" What success, what prototype and how can they test something that does not exist. That in itself is an engineering first.
Speaking about engineering, I just asked Bryan Willoughby (Tomion's Partner) - "what kind of engineer is Tomion and where did he graduate? He accused me of attempting to dig up dirt to use against Tomion - just what does that really mean? I will keep this email to clarify any doubts.
Just how many lies are OK for a guy claiming to have designed a UFO, or maybe he was abducted and he actually has not returned to normal yet?
The Plasma Drive is covered by US 6,271,614 and Tomion does not have a license to write about or use one.

You are seriously deluded, monsieur, and apparently irrational. Almost everything you say in this little tirade of yours is just plain false.
I have not 'highjacked' or pilfered your 'pulsed plasma motor' Patent 6,271,614 in any way: I wasn't even aware of its existence (or yours) until a few days ago, when word of your ridiculous smear campaign began filtering back to me. We have since studied that Patent, and fail to see any significant similarities between it and my EDF Generator Patent 6,404,089. And your assertion that I did so because I can't get my 'plasma drive' to work is simply NUTS.
To try and set the record straight, for all the good it will do: Bryan W. is not presently my 'partner' in the legal sense, although we have done business together successfully in the past and may yet again. I have no knowledge of any correspondence or communication between the two of you. But to accuse either of us of lying, cheating, or stealing, as you have now done in places other than just this forum, is stupidly wrongful and libelous.
I therefore encourage you to cease and desist these spiteful and ultimately futile negativistic activities, or we will be forced to take measures to stop you. You are not beyond our reach, and against me you cannot win. Au revoir.

Consider the following points for similarity, although copyright laws do not apply to patents - there seems to be a tremendous coincidence between my (Mine) patent (priority 10/1998) excerpts and Mark Tomion's (Tomion) patent (. The description of a Pulsed Plasma Drive Electromagnetic Motor Generator, complete with stationary and rotating electrodes and repeated in Tomion's "General Form of the Invention";
---1---
Mine - "a pulsed plasma commutator for transmitting energy to said motor/generator, having no spark suppression means" & "at least one primary contact; said primary contact allows only intermittent voltage flow to each radial contact when said radial contacts are in motion"
Tomion - "[D] a plurality of individual systems of stationary plane-parallel electrode elements (64)-(67) which electrically link the polarized rotor (6) by electrostatic induction about its positive inner circumference (within said evacuated compartment (12)) to two axially-central electron collector housing sections (5), and a plurality of similar individual systems of rotor-mounted plane-parallel electrode rings and/or radial electrode elements which may be utilized to connect a principal portion of the individual DC voltage outputs of said rotating field coils in opposed series-parallel across such composite rotor assembly"
---2---
Mine - "Although this technology was assumed unworkable, it teaches a new principle of operation having many unique and unexpected properties around and within the forming plasma. It is my belief, that this plasma means could lead to subatomic and discrete field manipulation, including possible gravity and time/space distortion."
Tomion - In G "capability in relation to intriguing new theories in high-energy quantum physics and relativity" You said everything you are doing is covered in current texts.
---3---
Mine - "The multiple function of said hermetically sealed container 98 is not limited to however includes, sealed sensor area, contaminant containment, gas vacuum, gas pressurization, radiation containment and direction." & "Use of extraneous conductors should be limited to standard exterior RF shielding as required, however this may be at a distance depending on requirements, in example a test room shield."
Tomion - "When used in association with a ground-based utility or physical plant, a non-propulsive thermal and/or electrical power output model of the Generator may also be enclosed within a suitable Faraday "cage" or shielding structure to further minimize radiative emissions which are undesirable." & "whether in a gaseous dielectric medium or the vacuum of space," (Indicates non-vacuum operation too)
If the electromagnetic coils are coupled with tungsten electrodes that drive a magnetic rotor and "Pulsed" plasma is produced, this is covered under US 6,271,614. In September 2002, the patent office suggested I wait until you actually began production, yet when Willoughby (still listed on your web page as a technology partner) contacted me with that preposterous $25 Million dollar offer in an attempt to gain proprietary information on my system and you still don't have a working prototype - well, here we are.
Again, I have posted this in case I never make it the patent office for appropriate action. Owning a patent has allowed me to meet all kinds of interesting people. |
