Does ZPE Extraction Endanger the World?
Posted on Sunday, September 05, 2004 @ 23:08:58 EDT by rob

Science nanotech writes: Does extraction of the zero-point energy/aether/quantum vacuum energy, endanger the stability of the local spacetime fabric of the universe, and the inhabitants of the Earth?

The author at http://www.soulinvitation.com/notfree/index.html seems to think that if not properly used, it can.

He claims that while the work of men such as Thomas Bearden and Moray King and others are completely correct, and there truly is irrefutable evidence for the existence of the zero point energy, and, its intelligent extraction and use, that if people go forth and build such devices without taking other factors into account, they could bleed off local gravity effects, and tear the space fabric, and so on and so forth. This is an issue that ought to be discussed, at least.

I've read this website over 2 years ago. It really just depends on your paradigm on the whole issue. We lack even a decent grip on the theoretical matters involved, even if ZPE is related to gravitational/space-time consistency, there is a self-renewing, self-repairing current which negentropically fills what was taken away...I believe Tom Bearden has addressed this point.

At first, I found the website a humorous statement of something that applies to any energy source. After all, the difference between a bomb and an energy source is that in the energy source, the explosion is more contained.
Then I actually went to the website. There was talk about ley lines and the destruction of Atlantis. Aren't these two topics on that list of things which serve as red flags for crackpotitude?

Extracting 'Energy from the Vacuum' is Just a Drop in the Ocean

Pastor-Bearden correspondence purports that "our current energy systems make use of the 'vacuum' in a much more wasteful and 'disturbing' manner and methodology, deliberately inefficient and wasteful, in and of themselves.
