Is H.E. Puthoff deliberately misleading others in the field of ZPE?
Posted on Saturday, September 06, 2003 @ 22:44:15 UTC by vlad

Science Robert A. Patterson writes: Let me start by stating that I am pro-free-energy and somewhat biased when it comes to the work of H.E. Puthoff i.e. having conducted my own research vs. relying on others to devise a method of tapping the vacuum for its residual energy densities, that said:

There are 3.2 MeV.'s of recoverable energy in Fusion

Conversely there are 200 MeV.'s of recoverable energy in Fission

    H. E. Puthoff is working with resanent cavities, offtimes referred to as open vacuum cavities which may be optically pumped, thereby inductively coupling atoms into the cavity system.

Cavity atoms experience significant squeezing under the influence of strong driving fields. These squeezing effects are intrinsically connected to the polarization of dressed state populations by tuning the cavity appropriately close to the atomic transition frequency we may induce a "non-vanishing inversion" of the dressed-state's setting the standard for optimal conditions for atomic squeezing.

In the case of an isolated two-level atom, the most important damping mechanism is a spontaneous radiative decay. This mechanism is associated with the "coupling of the atom" to the "zero point electromagnetic fields". Empty-cavity transmission resonances are found to "split" in the presence of the 'atoms', and under these conditions, the cavities temporal responses are found to be "oscillatory". These effects may be viewed as a manifestation of a vacuum-field Rabi splitting or as a simple consequence of the linear absorption and dispersion of the intercavity atoms.

Note the term "split" is synonymous with "Fission" which may occur in properly tuned Atom-Coupled Optical Waveguide Systems.

Is H.E. Puthoff deliberately misleading others in the field of ZPE?

    Wouldn't you?

Boy do I feel completely stupid...
I visit this site to see if there are any exciting developments (particularly with Greer as well as GWE). But then I read stuff like this, and I just go crosseyed, and my nose starts bleeding.

Now, Im not an engineer, nor do I have much knowledge in any of this stuff. I don't believe anything I read, but I do accept the possibility that it may be truthful - and hopefully proven a reality someday.

Having said that, I didn't understand a thing you said (no offense). It's due to my own lack of understanding. However, I'm not sure many people DO know what you (or anyone else) is saying - hence, the problem with this field of study. There's too many terms just thrown around - most of which seem to be "created" by the people writing the articles or designing the machines. I think a lot of people are referring to the same things - but they just don't know it.

Anyway - In what way is Puthoff misleading others in ZPE, and why would he?

    -Ryan

Puthoff's work on the ground states of hydrogen and the zero point flux is as of this date probably one of the few honest and fundamental findings in the field. This field of research is only going to advance when experiments of this type are carried out and not the work of other fudgers and hucksters. Puthoff's apparatus and experimental protocols are valid. His conclusion is tempting, not a yes or a no, but the one other outcome that almost guarantees that he is on to something: inconclusive. I would repeat the experiment again, only on the next try, avoid using an aluminum cavity. Instead I would use a superconducting cavity that has not been exposed to the atmosphere.
