One rarely makes friends late in life, let alone best friends who share the same burning desire to learn and investigate a wide field of scientific endeavour where they can work together. But that is what happened between Gene Mallove and ourselves. It was one of the most intense relations we have ever had. It lasted but eight years, clipped short by his murder at the hands of barbaric criminals that never received the justice they so fully deserved.
Much of what Gene and we worked on reached the public back then, but Gene's inside view, in his words, was mostly missing until we released the eugenemallove.com site - better late than never. Gene Mallove was a wonderful human being with an exquisite sense of humour and a very generous heart. And he was an exceptional scientist and physicist whose full blossoming was barred by worthless, malefic sadists.
During two decades, we largely kept to ourselves the pain of his loss, while enduring in sadness so many malicious lies and distortions being uttered in his name (gosh, even in "movies"!), and observing at a distance the growing scientific bankruptcy of Infinite Energy that eventually brought about its demise. We felt like the keepers of the innermost thoughts of his soul - and many of these just wanted to see the light of day, even as our epoch and its "faucified" science turned into some kind of collective derangement and self-debasement. We hope this site and Gene's memory will serve to induce in young people a desire to think by themselves, and awaken in them the flame of the spirit to better know and understand life and nature without fear of being shunned by any collectivistic consensus. As a well known song remarks - "there's nothing hidden anywhere, it's all there to be sought".---------------
