Company Says It Will Tap ZPE for Trip to the Stars
Posted on Tuesday, July 15, 2003 @ 23:02:14 UTC by vlad

Devices matt writes: A company claims its new design for a spaceship will make the grandest dreams of space flight possible.

Unitel Inc.’s bases its design for a propulsion system on a patented laser lens and specifically shaped hull. The design incorporates two modes of transportation: Electromagnetic propulsion, for short-range interplanetary travel, and an elastic tunneling process for interstellar travel. The company claims the device uses a lens to generate electromagnetic bucking waves to tap into the zero point energy (ZPE) field. This looks all very nice, but whose to say it for real or will happen.

This site certainly wins the price for worst designed fraud. I doubt such a company as 'United Music' exists, let alone that it has any patents. The US patent office must have relaxed its standards a lot for these nutjobs to even have their application considered.

Just look at the home page! What is a company that puts a cheap GIF animation of a disco ball as an intro to its site doing in ZPE research? Did it come across a ZPE engine while designing laser-lightning effects for ballrooms? Or a laser head for a DJ's CD turntable? Get rid of this trash!
