It doesn't look good for Newman. Another failure to replicate his energy machine (from the free_energy list). If I would have a working FE device and a patent on it, I would do whatever is in my power to help all those who want to replicate my device; there is no better independent validation than this. Once many replications prove the inventor legit, I'm convinced investors and serious manufacturers to get the license for commercial production will not be far behind - and that's where the inventor makes his/her fortune! What's wrong with this logic?

Hi all, I just thought some of you on this list might find this interesting Dave My attempt to build a motor with a greater energy output than input.
The motor I had hoped would produce more energy output than input. Here is what's left of it. This motor consisted of 15 to 20 LBS of magnets, and 50 LBS of 12 gauge wire.
Perhaps I should have listened to those who warned me that the laws of physics were not in my favor when I build this unusual motor, but there is nothing like learning a little physics in the school of hard knocks.
Many years ago I saw a video tape which showed Mr Joseph Westley Newman on television, demonstrating a motor he claimed could produce more energy output than input, and after seeing his motor charge up some dead dry cell batteries while it ran, I tried to duplicate his results, but only to discover some serious flaws in his theories about electromagnetism.
Here are a few web page links by others who are not real happy with Mr. Newman. You might want to read them if you're about to build a Newman motor, but on the other hand, if you want to learn the way I did, and spend a few hundred dollars for a hands on approach to learning go for it. I learned a great deal this way, and it was very enjoyable.
