Good fortune on Friday the 13th? (STEORN)
Posted on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 @ 07:53:59 UTC by vlad

Devices From Steorn's Orbo: Sean made a rare (these days) appearance on the Steorn forum to announce that their upcoming release of information, including the status of the jury and some of Orbo's technical specs, is now set for Friday, April 13th. Though 2007 was one-quarter behind us by the end of March, Sean's post indicates that he considers April 15th to be the end of the "first quarter" of the year, so the update may not actually be running later than intended.

(This is a questionable interpretation, however, given that on March 30th Sean stated that the update would come "next week", according to a post by Crank). Sean also stated that "there will be some new info"... what that means, we'll just have to wait and see.

Fiscal calendars are different and all depend on the anchor point. For example in my place of work the last day of fiscal march was the 30th and the first day of april was the 31st march.  Our calendar aligns to the nearest saturday before or on the 1st of the month.  However at xmas we end the year on the 31st january so the last week of the year (week 52) and week 1 of the next year can be anything but 7 days long!!!!! causes havoc with reports especially those involving time bucket calculations ;-)

A 5 min video posted by Sean McCarthy on You Tube as an update on progress in Steorn since August 06. Not much information except the statement that a public demo is scheduled for July 2007 in London, England which will also be broadcasted live on the Internet.

"There is no question that our technology works ... we're incredible serious about this ..." says Sean.

Steorn quote: "We have a responsibility to our shareholders!"  (even though the world is in dire need of new energy technologies, and only those who can afford it, can access it)

What a fucking joke!  The technology should be FREE, especially in a world based on capitalism, corruption, greed, and fiat currency.   The human race has been had - BIG TIME.
