Mathew Whitney writes: A hybrid system using elements from the following concepts:
Plasma Focus Homopolar Generator Nested Open-Cycle MHD Generator Linear Fusion Reactor Hilsch-Ranque Tube
Brief comments for each concept in regard to the AeroFusion
concept:
Plasma Focus – The appeal of the Plasma Focus is that it is terribly simple and robust, and it generates its own magnetic field. The drawback is that it requires absurd temperatures as its initial condition. The concept is too quick to do away with a permanent magnetic field. The Plasma Focus design meshes perfectly with a large neodymium ring magnet, and this creates the basic design for a nested MHD generator, the electrodes/polarity remaining the same.
Homopolar Generator – The AeroFusion design is not entirely solid-state, the top end of the chamber has a single, non-ferrous disk with a cone magnet attached to one face and an axle opposite that set in ball bearings. Unlike a normal homopolar generator, the disk is not in contact with any brush, rather, it rides atop the ring magnet and is free to spin, shearing the plasma vortex. The spin is initiated by the drag of the ionic wind entering the chamber as its accelerated by the ring magnet/cone magnet field. The plasma acts as the brushes.
Nested Open-Cycle MHD Generator – There is a fine line between an MHD generator and a fusion generator, AeroFusion blurs the line by creating fusion-like inductance via a charge cluster, but at the atomic/molecular level, not the nuclear. Unique to this concept is the idea of ionizing air to make it a conductive MHD working fluid.
Linear Fusion Reactor – Has two magnets, one at either end of the chamber, with AeroFusion the two end magnets are cones - one spins and the other is vented.
HR Tube – Unlike a normal HR tube the cones are magnetic and there is one on each end. Also the fluid dynamics of the periphery vortex and inner are reversed although the thermal difference is identical.
AeroFusion evolved from my initial and ongoing work, specifically with Schauberger’s ideas. It seems many ideas were precursors to this and although this is the superior concept it was prototyped out of budget restraints, which normally equates to quality restraints, but not here. The fact that free energy can be slapped together with OTS parts for under $300 in an afternoon shouldn’t be surprising, it’s consistent with the whole KISS principle I adhere to and my education allows.
The concept was last known as the Pulsarine, a modified Repulsine that proved to be beyond my budget but yielded some valuable answers. I love the idea that the Repulsine provided lift and excess torque but my changes steered the ratio more towards FE than AG…since it didn’t work I realized it needed to be “focused” on one aspect or the other.
The Repulsine and HR Tube overlap in their fluid/thermal dynamics, these and the homopolar generator only work at high speed. The Pulsarine diameter makes it relatively harder to make high-speed currents, not so with the HR Tube. An HR Tube is fed with air compressors but gains its insane air RPMs via rotation in a small diameter tube. The AeroFusion Device is fed by ionic air cleaners that don’t provide much thrust like a compressor, however the ionic wind is accelerated, and the forces introduced are accumulated to a steady stated where the system does not draw in excess, non-ionized air.
The same capacitor bank and air gap that are found in the Plasma Focus would be in here as well.
The AeroFusion device is also a decent model of how solar wind is drawn towards the geodynamo and creates an aurora. The solar wind is the output of the ionic cleaners, the aurora in this case is the plasma filaments between the electrodes and the geodynamo is the neodymium. Many MHD Geodynamo scientists know they are really trying to create a perpetual motion device when they try to answer which came first…
Generally speaking, a negentropic or living system is one that by design maintains its end state (life or attractor), which is a condensed form of its initial conditions or environment.
Most living things use a fluid to deliver and process food and an open-cycle MHD generator does the same. Old school MHD generators are not designed for continuous use as they basically use rocket exhaust as fuel, but a gentler, cooler one is designed for continuous use. Neg/entropy : two sides of a differentiating force of change. The act of trying to regain equilibrium of the system to its environment and vice versa is what maintains the system. The free energy device of choice co-evolves with the space around it, catalyzing, conditioning that space to its means. A biomimetic design illustrates, like a tree, the diffuse gathering, funneling, and utilization of environment…and the eventual transmutation of it. A process shared in myriad forms by all matter. Creating a difference to maintain a greater difference that always ends the same – Relatively Grounded.
The ideal free energy device should be simple and robust. It should be scalable, it should be safe, and it should work continuously. I propose that space tends to order, and that a device that functions in a self-similar function will couple to that tendency. That the design of the machine can force negentropy or turn entropy on itself. That entropy is not a measure of decay but of change.
The AeroFusion device is additionally attractive for the fact it’s based on known and accepted physics. The inventor claims that a charge/pressure/temperature differential along a common orbit/gradient, in a partially closed system, fed by ambient fuel, is a functional “Maxwell’s Demon”. The system is a real-time, centrifugal air refinery.
