Bearden - "Energy from the Vacuum" - book now available
Posted on Thursday, September 19, 2002 @ 22:07:00 UTC by vlad

Testimonials Energy from the Vacuum is the culmination of 30 years of original thinking and looking with fresh eyes at concepts that are presently considered to be foundations of science -- a process of on-going analysis long ago recommended by Albert Einstein.

Dr. Bearden’s findings are good news, for his theories point the way to the extraction and harnessing of inexhaustible clean energy from the vacuum.

With the development and ubiquitous deployment of free-energy mechanisms, the strategic vulnerabilities of centralized power systems can be eradicated, and the run-away degradation of the biosphere reversed. And there is suddenly a viable antidote for the perpetual poverty of under-developed nations.

Also contained in this book are the true stories of inventors who, over the past 150 years, have pioneered some of these processes -- and their secrets. Dr. Bearden rigorously analyzes more than 40 embodiments that can produce this free energy, including some capable of investigation at the high-school level.

Lt. Col. Thomas E. Bearden (U.S. Army, retd.) has a Ph.D. in science, an M.S. in nuclear engineering, and a B.S. in mathematics.

Scientific American, October issue, presents a theory that the MEG excess energy appears only during the MEG unloaded condition.

Bill's Alex comments where the MEG energy is referenced in the PDF patent description.

When one reviews the Bearden's MEG patent, there's ONLY one place in the whole document where the excess energy manifests itself, and thats on page 4 of this pdf document:
', 'http://groups.yahoo.com/group/smartmeg/files/Patents/06362718_001.pdf

It shows up as excess voltage produced by the magnet flux under NO LOAD! That's very very important - under NO LOAD. The magnetic flux
anomaly can ONLY manifest itself under a NO LOAD condition.

Now, the story makes a JOKE out of the MEG simply because the author and Bearden and co. are ignorant of the magnetic anomaly involved.
Bearden seems to know there's something there, however, he's LOST in his scalar wave nonsense theory. The anomaly wasn't sufficiently addressed in his patent.

Now, I ask, how many people in the whole world know about this anomaly? You can probably count them on one hand

S. Michael Hoke (SMichaelHoke@EcoLynx.com) writes: Thank you for pointing out this commentary. I have already written a letter to SciAm in response to this piece, and although I am cautiously optimistic it will be published, I have cut and paste my letter below in hopes of getting my two cents in somewhere:

LETTER TO SciAm EDITORS:

RE: October 2002 issue
There's No Stopping Them", 'Perpetual motion is alive and well at the U.S. patent office
By Graham P. Collins

Dear Editors:
If Graham Collins sincerely wishes to sway my opinion regarding the performance of Bearden et al.'s MEG, he would do well to publish a rebuttal to two recent papers in Foundations of Physics Letters:
Anastasovski, P. K. 2001. Explanation of the Motionless Electromagnetic Generator with O(3) Electrodynamics. Foundations of Physics Letters 14(1): 87-94.
', "Anastasovski, P. K. 2001. Explanation of the Motionless Electromagnetic Generator by Sachs's Theory of Electrodynamics. Foundations of Physics Letters 14(4): 387-393.

He may also wish to publish rebuttals to any of the dozens of other papers published over the last decade or so by Bearden et al. in journals like Physica Scripta, Optik, Journal of Applied Physics, Physics Review, Journal of Physics, and J. British Interplanetary Society. As for the rigor of the patent process, it is anything but the rubber stamp affair Collins would have us believe it to be. See Patent it Yourself by David Pressman, a patent attorney with over 27yrs. experience for elaboration on this point.

Sincerely,
S. Michael Hoke

dtb (dtb@yahoo.com) writes: Michael,
I believe that the point of the article and following comments points out that the delivered energy does not originate as presented by Bearden's theory. The source of the energy is referenced to a page in the patent description.

DTB
