Keep in mind these are DC generator systems, and as a consequence, produce a complex direct current consisting of a time-forward flow balanced with a time-reversed flow. There are NO electrons flowing in the secondary side! A very large complex electric potential is observed across the secondary coil L.
Because there is NO flow of electrons in his system, there was NO heat flow and the insulation can NOT breakdown due to the very high potentials. The electrons are therefore considered at rest mass.
To drive Tesla's generator into the NEGATIVE ENERGY region requires the angle theta to be greater than 45 degrees. This will drive the relativistic mass of the electrons NEGATIVE and the electrons are essentially flowing backwards in time. Its conceivable that Tesla had trouble controlling theta in the ill-fated Philadelphia Experiment where invisibility occurred with theta at 45 degrees. Not precisely controlling theta will cause strange temporal effects to occur, and of course, they did occur, and the rest is history, as THEY say...

Thank you for sharing. When I was working in San Diego, I incidentally met a U.S. Airforce retiree describing during his exploratory assignments in 1948 located somewhere in the Polynesian Islands. He and his crew found a marooned marine vessel with large electro-dynamo flywheels and huge-coils all over the ship. He said that they were not able to operate it, but the instrumentation suggested that the vessel is capable of reaching 90 knots. From the way he was describing it to me reminded of the Tesla Complex Field Generator coils you just mentioned.
Above all, the possibilities are very intriguing.
Sincerely,
