I took the following pictures of John's balcony after he "cleaned" it up to make it "acceptable" by the City of New Westminster. The balcony is really something, but seeing his appartment first hand is an unforgetable experience - a Russian sub would be 5 star accomodation

Hello Mike... My name is Harold Berndt and I'm a business person in the Fraser Valley. We have talked in the past (mid 90's) as you were thinking of doing a story on our group of hockey players who had been playing together for 20-25 years. You told me you thought I should become a writer as I guess you quite enjoyed my letter to you.
However, this is not the subject of my message to you today. I understand you are aware of John Hutchison and specifically, his current challenges with his Landlord and/or the City of New Westminster with respect to his famous balcony. I am a tinkering physicist, a Rep for Dr. Steven Greer's "Disclosure Project" and more importantly, a friend of John's and I will be out at his place around 8AM in the morning to offer my support and I have also offered my opinion based on my 20 years experience in real estate. I'm not privy to ALL the details as yet but I will bring myself up to speed in the morning and if it looks feasible and if John feels up to it... I will be taking him and supporters to the court house to see what we can do legally. I do not believe that a landlord can order something like this with one days "written" notice.
It is my opinion that there is "something" else going on here but time will tell. I hope you feel that John's current plight is worthy of your time and a segment as it will surely help someone who truly deserves to be helped.
