Welcome to ZPEnergy - The Energy of The Future
This is a NEWS PORTAL dedicated to experimental research on REVOLUTIONARY ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES. We propose to you to use this site as THE concentrator of choice for valuable news on the fascinating but still controversial subject of over-unity (O/U) fuel-less energetics (devices tapping the Zero Point Energy (ZPE)/ Vacuum/ Cosmic/ Ambient energy fields) and related. We want to let the general public know that this is an active field and good progress is made towards validating this technology and bringing the first commercial operational device to the market.
"Mighty, sublime, wonderful, as have been the achievements of past science, as yet we are but on the verge of the continents of discovery. Where is the wizard who can tell what lies in the womb of time? Just as our conceptions of many things have been revolutionized in the past, those which we hold to-day of the cosmic processes may have to be remodeled in the future. The men of fifty years hence may laugh at the circumscribed knowledge of the present and shake their wise heads in contemplation of what they will term our crudities, and which we now call progress. Science is ever on the march and what is new to-day will be old to-morrow."

QUANTUM VACUUM ENERGY EXTRACTION
|
|
Thanks to Overtone for these extracts from a recently issued Patent:
The following material appears in U. S. Patent #7,379,286 Haisch, et al. / May 27, 2008
QUANTUM VACUUM ENERGY EXTRACTION
Abstract: A system is disclosed for converting energy from the electromagnetic quantum vacuum available at any point in the universe to usable energy in the form of heat, electricity, mechanical energy or other forms of power. By suppressing electromagnetic quantum vacuum energy at appropriate frequencies a change may be effected in the electron energy levels which will result in the emission or release of energy. Mode suppression of electromagnetic quantum vacuum radiation is known to take place in Casimir cavities. A Casimir cavity refers to any region in which electromagnetic modes are suppressed or restricted. When atoms enter into suitable micro Casimir cavities a decrease in the orbital energies of electrons in atoms will thus occur. Such energy will be captured in the claimed devices. Upon emergence form such micro Casimir cavities the atoms will be re-energized by the ambient electromagnetic quantum vacuum. In this way energy is extracted locally and replenished globally from and by the electromagnetic quantum vacuum.

Tewari: Discovering Universal Reality
|
|
Sepp Hasslberger Update: Tewari: Discovering Universal Reality
What if space was filled with a non-material but very dense fluid and
matter was composed of 'holes' in that fluid? Visualize water as the
omnipresent medium and tiny bubbles swirling around to eventually give
form to everything that can be seen. You'd have an analogy of the way
Paramahamsa Tewari, a nuclear engineer with a passion for physics sees
the universe.

The Orion Project: The Ball is Rolling!
|
|
A Message from The Orion Project Core
Team
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
We are in the
midst of some very exciting new developments. Donations are on the rise,
volunteers are flooding in faster than we can assign them tasks (not a bad
problem to have!), and we are generating a lot of enthusiastic and supportive
discussion both on and offline.
In short, we have gotten the ball
rolling, and now it's time to sustain and build our momentum. But first, let us
remind you of why we started this project:

Free Energy and the Open Source Energy Movement
|
|
Part One By jibbguy 6-2008/ http://www.opednews.com
Free Energy?
In this series of articles, we will attempt to examine several “Free Energy” devices, and explain their workings in a very simplified way; while discussing the proposed theories behind them. Also, we will take a look at the new inventors and researchers working within the Open Source Energy movement; and how Internet collaboration has changed the face of invention… With selected interviews with some of the most important players in the movement today.

Guest Opinion: Global Warming Twenty Years Later
|
|
From the WorldWatch Institute:
by James Hansen on June 23, 2008
Tipping Points Near
Today, I will testify to Congress about global warming, 20
years after my June 23, 1988 testimony, which alerted the public that global
warming was under way. There are striking similarities between then and now,
but one big difference.
Again a wide gap has developed between what is understood
about global warming by the relevant scientific community and what is known by
policymakers and the public. Now, as then, frank assessment of scientific data
yields conclusions that are shocking to the body politic. Now, as then, I can
assert that these conclusions have a certainty exceeding 99 percent.

Safety report: latest collider at CERN won't end the world
|
|
By John Timmer /ars technica
Physicists around the world are waiting with excitement as the final preparations for CERN's Large Hadron Collider (LHC) take place in advance of the start of operations this summer. Others, however, are much less enthused, as they worry about the prospects for cataclysmic forces to be released through the exotic forms of matter that will appear in the debris of the collisions that take place within the LHC's detectors. Those worries sparked a lawsuit intended to block the LHC's operation. Physicists are aware of the concerns, however, and CERN sponsored a safety report back in 2003.

'Impossible' technique to study and develop superconductors
|
|
A team of University of British Columbia researchers has developed a
technique that controls the number of electrons on the surface of
high-temperature superconductors, a procedure considered impossible for
the past two decades.
Led by Physics Assoc. Prof.
Andrea Damascelli, the team deposited potassium atoms onto the surface
of a piece of superconducting copper oxide. The approach allows the
scientists to continuously manipulate the number of electrons on
ultra-thin layers of material.
The details are published this week in the prestigious journal Nature Physics.

McCain offers $300 million for new auto battery
|
|
From Forbes.com by GLEN JOHNSON / Associated Press: FRESNO, Calif. - John McCain is hoping to solve the country's energy crisis with cold hard cash. The presumed Republican nominee on Monday proposed a $300 million government prize to whoever can develop an automobile battery that far surpasses existing technology. The bounty would equate to $1 for every man, woman and child in the country, "a small price to pay for helping to break the back of our oil dependency," McCain said at Fresno State University...

The Thermionic Revolution - Using Ambient Heat Energy
|
|
will do to fuel based motors what the Industrial Revolution did to the horse.
What is possible: A simple way has been found that promises to make cheap abundant electricity from the heat in air
On 19 June 07, Prof G Mahan, a Thermionics expert and currently a visiting Professor at Penn State University wrote:
"It is well known that thermionic power generators would work well at room temperature if one could find a stable material with a low work function……."

Dr. Harold Aspden, Lecture No. 7 - The Invention of Hans Coler
|
|
INTRODUCTION
It was put under Official Secrecy after its operation had been verified
by Government scientists. It was a device which involved magnets and it
operated to generate electricity without any source of input power
other than the space energy of Nature's quantum underworld. It was
denied patent protection by the German Patent Office, as being a
perpetual motion device. It was ignored and the records relating to it
were buried in hidden archives. I surmise that that was because the
scientists who had to pass judgement on what should be done simply
could not understand the physical reason why the invention actually
worked.
I believe I know the secret of its operation and I will in this Lecture
present a brief outline of that reason before quoting the facts of the
case from the now-declassified Government report, which was entitled: 'THE INVENTION OF HANS COLER, RELATING TO AN ALLEGED NEW SOURCE OF POWER'.

Boulder to be first “Smart Grid City”
|
|
The next-generation power grid—enhanced by digital
technologies throughout the network to give generators, distributors,
and customers greater control—promises to improve efficiency and lower
operating costs. This year, in the most full-scale effort yet, Xcel
Energy begins introducing intelligent grid technologies that it hopes
will make Boulder, Colo., the first Smart Grid City.
By Angela Neville, JD
Just as the Internet changed the way we
communicate, so will the “smart grid” transform the way we deliver
electricity. The Internet’s success is largely due to its networking
capabilities. In a similar way, the smart grid will use broadband
capabilities and high-speed computing to revolutionize the transmission
and distribution of power to end users.
